I think paypal commission is too high . I had received $101.75 from a custom and the commission is $4 . Moreover I try to withdraw the money to my credit card or bank account . It says for withdraw money less than $1000, it will charge at least $35 as commission each time I withdraw the money . And for money more than $1000, it charge 3% commission. As we know, paypal is for small amount transaction . How can they charge expensive commission ? Are there any option that can replace paypal ? It must be widely accepted like paypal .
For paypal personal account to personal account it's free. However Paypal is cheaper than its alternatives such as 2CO and SWREG. Moneybookers might be the best but most people don't use it.
Moneybookers is lighter on the wallet in terms of transaction fees. But, it doesn't match the crown jewel pp
Fraud, security, uptime, credit card fees. You say expensive but have you seen alternatives? What would you expect to pay in fees?
Even I too find the paypal fees really very high... I also think MB is a very good alternative but is limited by its reach... It is time we all....at least DP members get united and dump PP for MB....what say?..guys Regards, RightMan
Might be google checkout has online payment system . I count the day google checkout is as popular as paypal . Then I can shift from paypal to google .
Yes paypal commissions are to high especially if you recieving small payments, because their minimum commission is $ 0.3
Why don't you isuee the check , i don't think that they charge too much in paying check system . I am using it from last two years and always get paid by check with less deduction and think check payment is best .
Paypal commission is high but do we have better options than Paypal? Moneybookers and e-gold is not so widely used as paypal. We are bound to use paypal.
It looks like people have too many complaints against Paypal. But the fact is we cant avoid them, we all are addicted to them or the other way we dont have any other option.
The only other alternative to PayPal is the Payoneer card or a bank wire transfer. But you need affiliate programs that support these payout options. Most freelance sites support Payoneer.
PayPal really isn't all that good, it is just the most popular, and therefore the most trusted. AlertPay is decent, as well as MoneyBookers. I would check those out.
Well I make less than $500 using a paypal personal account so I do not have any problems their fees. But I do hope paypal reduces their fees especially for smaller amounts.
It should also be much less than your own profit margin. If you think that the fees you pay paypal is not worth the while then do the payment processing yourself or find some other alternative.
Correct, it is a Willing Buyer Willing Seller market. No one is forcing you to make use of Pay Pal services. You only use it if you feel that it is worth it. For me it is, it helps me link to many places where traditional banking failed.
