    only directory worthwhile is dmoz. get a ton of links from that once you get approved in my experience.

    press releases and publishing in e-zines work a lot too.

    Obviously no one is really going to share their secrets. These are all generic answers and very broad. There are crap loads of ways you can generate traffic.

    Ask a broad question, you'll get broad answers.

    Here is a questions I would ask. This is going to get you a lot better resolves.

    How do you use youtube and convince people to click on the link in the description.

    I found that I get indexed very quickly with Digg, but not much traffic since I don't participate. Strangely I get traffic from stumbleupon from doing nothing but bookmarking my site.
