If I'm direct linking from Adwords ad to Affiliate, how does affiliate company get my Affiliate number from CJ to make sure I get paid?

When you get the link from cj that you want to use, your information is contained within in it. You put that link in the destination url for adwords.

you may want to mask your refer because your affiliate manager may be bitchy about your traffic

Just use a php redirect from one of your domains, to the merchants landing page.

They might be funny about not getting any referrer information too.

I'm pretty sure a PHP redirect does nothing to your referrer. I could be wrong but the last time I tried it didnt work.

All affiliates on CJ post their TOS regarding what is allowed regarding adsense, such as what words you are allowed to bid on. As long as you follow these rules the merchant shouldnt have a problem with adwords traffic.

I've tried it before and found it doesn't work for all web browsers. You have to be very carefully to test the php redirect script you are using to make sure it removes 100% of the referrer information.

I'd be wary about CJ because I know they don't like you hiding the referrer and many affiliates are picky about how you can advertise their programs. You could risk losing your commissions and having to pay for the web traffic.

Use a url shortening service, like tinyurl or tubeurl. And the best part is they are Free!
