DP's Revenue sharing may be the reason of your low cpc

Recently, I was really troubled by the low cpc, I read the book 'Adsense screats' and followed it.

Step-1: Book says, try to find out the pages which may be harming the overall CPC. and remove adsense code from that page. wait for a week (cpc is calculated weekly) and see if cpc is increased. Sharing your adsense account across multiple site may also cause overall low cpc, if some of the niche has low cpc.

Step-2: I followed it, removed code from some of the pages which may be the reason of low cpc. But I dint get any result.

Step-3: Suddenly, A thought came in my mind that, DP might be the reason, So I decided to try it out. and removed the publisher id from my profile. and believe me, After a week, I am seeing the result.

I dont know, weather its true or not, there's no way to prove. you may want to try out and see the result. let me know, if you also experience the same

Pages with lots of impressions and negligible clicks harms overall CPC, Its very unlikely that you are getting enough impressions on Dp to kill your cpc with that many posts.

It may not be true, You are talking about CTR, and CTR doesn't affect CPC at all.

If we think logically, google has no reason to reduce CPC because of lots of impressions and no clicks, infect google is happy, advertisers are getting free impression for which otherwise they will have to pay, if they advertise with CPM based networks.

eh this is bullshit. Separate websites don't affect each others CPC at all.

It's widely known that Adsense calculates your earning across every website that uses your ad code. You would earn a lot more in the long run if your ads show on just a lawyer website than having it on a whole different mix of sites. Your CPC/CPM is based on all the websites collectively in your Adsense account.

Yeah, I would never run DP rev share ads on the same acct as a website that gets higher CPC. If you have a separate business entity you can always open a new acct. Group what you believe will be low CPC sites together in one acct. Just a suggestion
