Some affiliates are making a few sales with 100 hops. However, Yesterday was a weak day in general for me, both as an affiliate and as a publisher, all affiliates for this product converted much weaker than usual. It was just one of those days, today things seem to be picking up, so I think you might see a sale today. Due to some issues, the site will be down for a few hours, please stop any PPC campaigns on this product, I wll announce when the site will be back up again. There is a opt-in currently that collects e-mails from customers. Once the issues are corrected, the customers will be emailed about it. The affiliate that brought the customer will get the sale, the affiliate cookie WILL NOT be overriden. nice one working with marcan on that ripped. dont want those dudes on your bad side tbh. my sales dipped but im starting to get a bit more SB traffic back after my last ones were sabotaged huhu. i can only imagine what it would of been like!
There was a drop in sales due to the negativity about this products, and some people were trying to sabotage the site. Things have been gradually improving, today was better, I think it will get back to normal when things settle down in a few days. The situation is calming down and it's only gonna get better from this point, the worst is over. Mill, I think you were converting at 2:62 for today last time I checked so that's good.
yeah, quite a few of those are still coming from the gbatemp forums tho so its stuffing the stats right up hah.
Sorry, I made I mistake, Patchka (not Mill) has a 2:62 conversion for today, while mill has a 1:20 for today . And I agree about the gbatemp guys coming so it doesn't give a realistic picture for the conversions. EDIT: I Have uploaded a new material in the affiliate section, it's a 1 minute video which you can use to promote this products on sites such as Youtube, Metacafe etc. This video shows me, clearly showing a backup copy of the game Mario Galaxy in front of the camera, putting the backup copy into the console and executing the backup copy of the game. This is like a demonstration of one the features of homebreware. Simply download and watermark this video with your landing page URL, and upload it to video sites

Glad you made a sale keep it up, I'm gonna upload a new lander soon, and there will be some modifications to the sales page which hopefully will produce a increase in conversions. Also for anyone using the video I provided to promote the product, I suggest you to disable comments for the video because there are a lot pissed of gamers that will put hate comments.

Ripped, Sorry to see you are getting ripped (no pun). Funny how the world turns, you couldn't buy the kind of publicity you got, you touched a fine line of legal issues, got exposed publically, and created an alternative for a greater good. Good on you and best of luck with this mate, the wonky world of marketing continues. I'm glad to see you were transparent and simply cooperated/took the heat instead of battling with them, your product is probably going to be here for a while now Start making sure you don't lose this niche to others, come up with retention campaigns and create your own competitors etc, instead of watching them popup. Perhaps start working with the guys from that blog et al. I'm sure there are other similar guides/models you can duplicate... Best of success, NC.

I've learned a Great lesson from this called 'Publishing 101', in the past two weeks , I had hack attempts on my web hosting account, hack attempts on my DP account, received tons of hate mail and threats, received a DMCA complaint to CB and had my CB pay link suspended for a few hours(this was resolved, the person withdrew the complaint because we resolved the problem). And just when I thought it couldn't get any worse. Today, I had my bluehost account suspended permanently. I must say, since I resolved the issue with the guys from the blog, the Bluehost suspension and DMCA complaint were from complaints from about 7-10 days ago, when the guys were still pissed off, the complaints took effect now. Now those guys are cool and don't mind the product (you can read the link above). I don't feel so bad about this happening to me, but I feel bad that the affiliates who were so supporting, working so hard, were losing sales because of this. Since the problem has been solved, I don't see any one these problems recurring again.
