I own a Hitachi HDC-1061e. (That's what it says on the camera.) It's quite a good little thing, it's 10MP, so it takes quite good photo's. Got it march this year, so i don't think i'll be changing soon
♦ I had a major **** ME moment last night. ♦ Dropped my camera, landed on the lens...BROKE my 24-105!! Much ♦ It was difficult removing the lens and now it's almost impossible for the lens to traverse the 24-105mm, turns VERY hard. DANG!
i own an old but still reliable canon SD400, good enough, but i think a bit more MP would be nice, but don't need 10MP though, i'm no pro so there's no need. No need for SLR either lol
I love fujifilm compact cameras for the older generations such as the z2 series. It is still the coolest which gave me the best pictures. Is cheap n good quailty. Is a value for money camera brand for me.
My friend and I are going to crack (bad choice of words) open my lens tomorrow and see what we can see. Beats having to pay $300+ if you don't have too! The biggest problem we might face is the IS portion of the lens...no telling how that all works! I'd be willing to live without that if it can function otherwise. What might ultimately kill me though is that the barrel might be bent since it's hard to tale the lens on and off the camera :/
I own a NIKON COOLPIX S550 10 Mpix DigiCam. The pics taken by it are just awe! I also got few books on Digital Photography from a professional photographer client of mine. Studied a bit and now i shoot images worth 20 Mpix from my 10 Mpix camera.. Cheers... Here is a pic of it..
10MP on a sensor that small...doesn't seem like it would be worth it; ie more MP on smallish sensor = more noise. You certainly don't need 20MP!!! are you making 50"x70" prints or what? all you need is about 3MP to make a nice 8x10 photo
FUJI! I had a Finepix 6900 as my first dig K can back my back I mean he knows as well, that more MP ≠'better' picture I have a 7MP Elph...it's about 17x's (no exaggeration) more noisy @ 1600ISO than my 40D is!
HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOray! My friend Andy suggested that we take apart the lens that I broke. SO I went over to his place today. He undid 2 of the 4 screws on the back of the lens mount, he felt a shift - put the screws back in and it worked! It fixed the mount and the focal zoom rub! Damn, talk about your "things that sound dirty but aren't" NEEDLESS to say I was elated that I do not have to send the lens off for a repair that might have been $200+
