If you are not that familiar with the law of attraction, its basic meaning is that "we are what we think". Our thoughts are energy that flows outside of ourselves to attract what we are thinking about the most, and what we feel the most. Like attracts like. It is applied to negative or positive things in our life. It know neither good nor bad, just like a magnetic force that pulls in like force. Of course, this means that you can be attracting things into your life that you do not want simply by focusing too much on what you do not want to happen. You will inevitably be attracting those very things. If you want to attract good things, focus your emotions and thoughts on things you want to attract more of. If you want to attract love and a good relationship, become more loving and view people in a positive light without being critical, cynical, or pessimistic. (even when such feelings are reasonably warranted) Remain happy and optimistic. (this takes focus) If you want more money, focus your thoughts on happiness, gratefulness, and how you would feel with more money. Some people even use repetitive chants such as "I am so grateful and happy to have so much money coming from so many different avenues." People use it to help attract more money into one's life. Of course, it involves giving of one's time, energy, resources, etc to help other people. That is why rich people always give to charity. The more you give, the more you receive. It is a natural law like the law of gravity. If you believe that such a law exists, have you benefited from it? What do you think?
Thats what I thought the first time I read about it. But, I remember one time, I focused entirely on getting a new car, and I did the next month. I was dead broke when I first thought about the vehicle I wanted to own. One month later, I paid for the vehicle with cash. So, I don't know.
how many times did you desire something and didn't get it at the end? probably many, but one only records the successful ones.
Actually that had nothing to do with the law of attraction. At the time, I knew nothing about such a law. But, I do think that we tend to act on our thoughts, whether good or bad. So, I think there is some truth to the law of attraction. Meaning if we really want something, we usually make it happen to the best of our ability. Are you saying that you've never reached your goals? Most people work with the Law of Attraction but don't realize it.
100% I believe this. I am not a guru. I'm not religious. But hell this does work. Take 1000 12 year old children who like sprinting? Will the next Olympic Gold winner be the fatest child there? Nope. Attitudue, the fastest will be one who trains for the next 10 years. You need to be clear what the attraction is. Cars are bad example. You need to focus and what you want and reason out the quickest way to get it, most stably. The law of attration is as a gimicky phrase for hard work and effort
there's many truths to it, really the overall idea I believe to be true. At the core, we are just thoughts. The power of thought is so underestimated.
I was about to post my response here, but then I realized that this guy has already said what I wanted to say here. So, here goes. "I don’t really believe in the Law of Attraction. I believe that it can work, but not for the reasons claimed in the “law†(which is not really a law or even a scientific theory, as it cannot be proven false). The reason the Law of Attraction can work is because someone following it does the following three things: 1) Very specifically states what he/she wants — something many people fail to do otherwise. 2) Constantly focuses on it. 3) Actually takes action to make it happen. This part isn’t a part of LOA, but it naturally follows from 1 & 2. The combination of those things will, more likely than not, make a desire or goal come true." This is my take on this issue too.
I believe in Law of Attraction and I always get what I focus my mind on. But I guess you can skip it if you think it's B.S.
Of course I agree. If you've even been driving to work thinking "Man, work is gonna suck today", do you end up surprised when your day turns out crappy? Of course our thoughts matter. If you're a downbeat, down in the mouth schmuck, you won't have the same results famous positive thinkers like Michael Dell and Richard Branson get.
I agree. It all depends on what we focus on most. People can say "it doesn't work bc I didn't get rich yet". Well, your life didn't get the way it is overnight, did it? Plus, people might say that they want to be rich. But, if they really see what they've been focusing on the most, they'll see that it wasn't acquiring more money. Most people unconsiously focus most of their attention on their relationships with other people, and think about their dream goals every once in a while. So, to stay focused, visualization helps, plus writing down your goals.
the power of attraction is nothing more than common sense. if you want something bad enough, if you focus your energy and attention on it, most likely you will get it.
