I have a very strange problem. I have a shared hosting account and I have lots of addon domains / sub-domains on my account, all of which work fine. I just added a new one, but when I type in the domain it redirects to the index page of my primary domain (although the addon domain remains in the address bar!) So just to explain simply - let's say my account's primary domain is: primary.com And the addon domain is: addon.com If I type in addon.primary.com it loads fine. If I type in www.addon.com it loads the index page of primary.com but keeps "www.addon.com" in the address bar. I have tried removing then re-adding the addon domain but it makes no difference. I have tried re-adding it with a new folder name, but that doesn't work either. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?! I'm bamboozled
I recommend writing to the web host, they will look inside apache config to see which virtualhost the add-on domain got added to and which DocumentRoot it would pull up.
