This is the 2nd thread i notice about people not making any money from ezinearticles. why do others make and others don't? i'm so hopelessly confused :| was thinking on outsourcing some artile writing but after reading these kind of threads... i'm not sure anymore what to do.
A 30- 40% CTR is huge Who`s getting that kind of CTR ? The 40% CTR for the articles.. is just because people from the EZA community are reading them .. I`m only interested in SE traffic on my articles.. as well as building valuable backlinks.. The second most popular author on EZA has around 14,000 articles I might be wrong.. (12K - 14K) .. he started last year in december and claims that he`s making now well over 30K a month.. just from article - email marketing He must have outsourced most of the articles
His name is Sean R Mize , he has 9234 which are published and distributed among respectable websites, other blogs, and press releases, not to talk about emails and all that.. His #2 on the expert authors list... I just came across his free ebook a while back and was really curious if Ezine Articles can generate a 5 figure income. Yes it does.. Imagine it.. If we divide 9234 by 356 days then it means he submitted on average 25 articles every single day which is pretty impossible for any human being .. so guys research and outsource.. if going big for article marketing..
The first guy got 15k articles, LOL....but it doesn't look like that the purpose of them was to make money... Anyway, 25 articles a day is not that difficult....I think for professional writers, it's quite easy to do. The problem is that it's difficult to keep up the writing
If it weren`t for money then what for ? I don`t think they wrote 15K articles for fun. he`s got 15K damn niche articles indexed in google The great thing is that people use the articles and provide the author resource box on their own sites. So that is better ranking and more traffic.
Damn...I have just 50 articles their, even if you buy the articles of $1 each, it is still 15k in spending...who said that article marketing was free?
I'm pretty sure he's been doing article marketing for longer than a year - his earliest articles are from 2006, although that's still a huge amount of articles. One particular day I noticed from a few months back he submitted about 100 articles in just one day, other days he only submits a few, but the guy is definitely consistent. Wish I had that kind of motivation. Actually I just started reading one of his ebooks and he says he outsourced all of the 'Sean R Mize' articles - he says he's written all the 'Sean Mize' articles himself.
If he used all those articles to build up a lot of backlinks for one site, that site has got to rank pretty good.
Using a ton of articles on one directory just to build links is kind of a waste. Sure, it gets you links, but something like EZA can get you SALES and links at the same time, so why not be smart and do both?
#1 guy on EZA is Lance Winslow But no way he is only a year here (since last december), take a look Status: Platinum Member since March 23, 2005 Location: United States Articles: 14,999 Active articles, resulting in 6,964,309 views Feedback: 165 comments on these 14,999 articles precious007, Sean R Mize is only #2, but hey it's also great and SHITLOAD of articles. Status: Platinum Member since March 02, 2006 (so a year later than first) Location: United States Articles: 9,259 Active articles, resulting in 439,490 views Feedback: 21 comments on these 9,259 articles But first guys articles have been viewed almost 7 millions of times!!!! While second not even half million!!! That also a big issue. Something tells me that #1 guy makes 6 figure monthly income
Naaaaah, 6 figure would be too much, but 5 figure sounds more realistic. P.S. Guys, we should be writing articles now, instead of discussing others income, lol
Imagine 7 million views with a 20-40% CTR? Even a 10% rate would be like... 700,000 hits to your LP. Even at 1% conversion rate, that's 7,000 sales. Wow. That guy is banking.
That's what I am talking about, I am still insist for 6 figures Well, somebody should make it everywhere at least once, for EZA that guy is, #2 have big potential for that as well. Ok now I return to work
Enlightening thread. I have tried this method and although I havent really followed through with it to realize success myself, I have been gathering a lot of information and research. Constant flow of articles (2 per day) to ezine, well optimized with good anchor text. Social Bookmarking of articles RSS feeds Squidoos and Hubs The secret I believe is to get to a certain level of saturation and then drip-feed, otherwise it sure does become very time consuming for the potential return. Low gravity, low-competition niches is probably the way to go, whilst running an optimized campaign. Once the sales do start it provides the inspiration to branch out into other niches and rinse and repeat (love that phrase) Elliott
