Broken link found in Google's own site

Friends I just found one broken link in google.co.in site

http://www.google.co.in/intl/support?hl=en


first go to http://www.google.co.in/intl/en/about.html
then click help....you will find broken link.

How google could force other site remain aware about broken links

It may be possible that when you try to open this link it has become live again, but yeh try to try this link at earliest.

I have found a couple of broken links on Google, they are just too big

even if you click on the logo http://www.google.co.in/intl/en/about.html its broken as well.
What it looks like they did was copy the files from another domain to this one but forgot to modify it.

 

Well who do you think are working on Google India ? Americans or Indians ? Of course they hire indians, so you can say 'thank you' to your own citizens and stop blaming Google ! ROFL, I love google :'-(

 

I reported this to google. I told them that I am a webmaster of a few sites and pointed out their error. They responded! They told me that they would award me the site of my choice with a PR 8 value!!!









I'm kidding. And I did not report it. Nice find though. Kind of funny when I think about how interesting checking that out was for me, lol.

And as someone said, it will be interesting to see how long it takes for them to fix it. I wonder if they have fun with it and post something humorous on the page.

 

hahahaha good one, i bet everyone and thier mother will be searching for errors to report to google about for a chance at that...lol

 

I just remember someone got screen shot of error codes (showing code instead of link or image or something) in the front page of MSN. Human make mistakes.

 

They determination survive come down like a ton of bricks on at Google searches.
