The word nigger has always had a negative connotation. How do I feel about the word? Personally, it don't affect me. No one has ever called me that. I wouldn't be personally mad or nothing. I don't even know what the word means. I've just heard that it came from slavery. But, I've never been a slave, so I wouldn't know. If I was raised in the South, maybe I'd get mad, but peple in the midwest don't think like that.
Thats funny. What was the last black movie that you've seen? Was it from the late 80's, early 90's? Becaus that was the last time people listened to gansta rap music.
Let me check.. Ok, here are some stats for you. 2006 Alaskan Census White persons, percent, 2006 (a) 70.7% Black persons, percent, 2006 (a) 3.7% American Indian and Alaska Native persons, percent, 2006 (a) 15.4% Asian persons, percent, 2006 (a) 4.6% There appear to be very few. My guess is that the majority of that 3% is stationed there in the army or something. I'd hate to freeze in Alaska if I didn't have to.
Black people in alaska or any dark colored people in a cold climate are killing themselves slowly through vitamin D deficiency. It may sound like a joke but it's actually quite serious and there's been much research on it - just a fun fact for today. I have reason to believe if there was a perfect race it would be black people, not from any stereotypical trait but from their history. Pretty sure they have the highest bone density, and more assets.. from the power of the sun.
I would say that they are better suited for the area of the world in which that particular pigmentation evolved. Since humans evolved in one place and extended from there all "races" are from the same stock, they just evolved small differences such as pigmentation to better suit themselves to the environment. Unless somebody believes in simultaneous evolution across the planet... we are all simply humans, with minor differences. Black people tend to have more issues with sickle cell than whites... but in the area they evolved in it is rarely a problem.
Are you really a black person or someone who is pretending to be a black person? Sorry, but we sometimes get the latter types round here. Crazy rob might know.
As far as I am aware it seems like everyone uses the word nigga, except when a black guy is around. It's kinda intergrated into the hip hop culture. Like some asian people I see would call each other niggers...
man, i didn`t know that.... is that correct the other way round, too?? i mean, white people living in a hot climate...will that be killing??
My father in law (who is with a white woman)said it was because black women stop having sex after 40. But I know that that is not true bc I know some black women who are still having kids in their 40's. My husband- who's father is black and mother is white- says its because white women are easy, and he likes black women bc they are more interesting and harder to get. (maybe he's talking about me) My sister in law is also white. So, I see this a lot. Just from my observation, it seems like there is this misconception that all black women has a tremendous amount of attitude, and drama, and white women are more laid back. (in some cases, this seems to be true.) On the other hand, it also appears that white women does things for thier men that some black women won't. I've seen tons of white women buy affection with money and gifts, and black men use them for money or credit. 've also seen white women break up marriages with no remorse. I think that some white women, that I know, lack the moral standards that some black women have. With other people, some couples just happen to be compatible, and skin color don't matter. Love is love. I personally want my daughter to marry a white man when she grows up bc they seem to be more responsible with caring for their families. Not that I have anything against black men. But, the less drama in her life the better. My opinion only.
I am a real black woman. Actually, I am truly african american. My dad is nigerian and my mother is black american.
I find both offensive in the same respect. I don't even like black people using those words to other black people.
Why are black people from the southern part of the us so much more nicer than the black people in the northern us. Shouldn't it be the other way around? More questions coming soon, just gotta put em in a nice way
Thats funny. I've never seen an asian person use that word.I'm aware of its appeal in the hip hop culture. I like hip hop, however, as mentioned in other posts, I don't like to use that word at all, not even with black people toward other black people. To say, 'wuz up Nigga' displays a certain lack of education and ignorance to me. So, I don't use the word, and no one that I value as a friend use that word.
I've lived in the south for a few years, and what is funny is that I didn't notice that the people there were any nicer. Just different. I personally relate more to east coast people better. I find that more northerner do what they say they will do, and more southerners talk the talk but don't lift a finger. I like west coast people the best. From living out west for awhile, I thought that they were definitely the nicest, and most cheerful.
Yeah, just like ofay, cac, honkey, peckerwood, cracker, redneck, white bread, white boy, white trash, redneck, hillbilly, white supremacist, racist, slaver, skinhead, neo-nazi are very different words. Hope it helps.
