i think windows vista is doing well this days, unlike the good old days of vista where i already want to curse this operating system because of the flaws it have.As i can see 1-2 from now windows vista can be the standard operating of the personal computers

Vista was just a way for Microsoft to cash in. There are little improvements and is crap if you ask me. Windows 7 is even worse. XP was the last ok version. Hopefully they smarten up for the next release.

It isn't. You need a faster machine to run it.
Not true. There are more. I wish I saved the link to that fact.
    Proves point 1.

Since Vista is only 8% of sales and it will no longer be available when Windows7 comes out, none of that statement will ever be true.

Um, I think it's cursed for good lol:D What's the use of making Vista standard when Windows 7 is coming really soon anyways?

Vista has some very nice eye-pleasing features but I encountered many problems with lack of driver support for many of my devices. Vista is ok if you are purchasing a new computer and printer, scanner, camera etc, but if you have an older system or devices I recommend sticking with XP.

Well new problems arising for me using vista. My IE seems to be crashing 7-8 times a day. Any suggesstions on how to solve this problem. Or I'll just downgrade to IE 7. What do you think?

"Or I'll just downgrade to IE 7" downgrade to IE7 from what ? Latest stable IE version is IE7, you probably using IE8 beta1 or maybe even beta2, but it's beta that's why it crash. Vista have no anything bad about this case.

Obviously lot of people here are VERY retarted.

In first sight I didn't like Vista but after using it for a time I started to liked it and Vista is my favourite now :) Windows XP is more controlable and less crowd, Vista blocks some for people who interests in deep side of operating system.

    P.S: I'm using 32bit OS with 64bit CPU.
We had problems with Vista 64bit before.

I'm an XP guy. I bought my last computer right before the debut of vista and then 18 months later got my dad a computer that had Vista on it. Getting the computer set up and user friendly seemed much more time intensive and the wireless kept losing connection. He says after a while he got use to it but every time i use his computer it feels sluggish and with his specs it shouldn't.
