Hi guys I have had an idea of a youtube video to promote one of my sites, just wondered if anyone knew anyone or any companies/websites who could create me a video ? anyone whos good with video editing software ? Woc
Why not have a go at it yourself? It's reasonably easy once you get going and you don't need hollywood standard editing to make an affective video for the purposes of marketing! Windows Movie Maker is a great tool to start with. If you want to go for more advanced editing then upgrade to the likes of Sony Vegas Movie Studio or Adobe Premiere. Personally I'm always making viral videos for the likes of youtube etc with Windows Movie Maker. It's simple and does the job even though I have Adobe Premiere.

Animoto makes amazing video slideshows. It makes slideshows look more like movies... And you can upload to YouTube.
I'd like to ask, to what extent is the success that some people have had with youtube videos generating traffic? I never check the url unless it's written in the video I just watched. And even at that. Do Youtube vid's make much of a difference?
YouTube can do wonders for traffic generation. I love Animoto, too, but I wish I could take their logo off!
Initially, I thought videos didn't generate much traffic.... BUT, now that I know how to make videos that rank on PAge 1 of Google, I can't complain about lack of traffic.
You mean the comments? Is there any point to doing that-they come off to people as being pretty annoying, what about the traffic generation?
