Need opinions on best domain to use for a new project

Hello. I am working on a new website. It will be a directory of all the top website marketing products, services, tool and resources, where visitors are able to review each listing and read other marketers reviews. This will be a big project for me so I just want to make sure I use the right domain... so I needed some opinions.

I have both the domain WebsiteMarketingReviews.com and
WebsiteMR.com registered. I am thinking of using the websiteMR.com
as my main domain, incorporating the Marketing Reviews aspect into the logo
and then forwarding any direct traffic I may happen to recieve at the WebsiteMarketingReviews.com domain to the MarketingMR.com site.

Does this sound like a good route to go? Any other opinions on how I should go with this as far as my domain selection? Also do you think
either of these domains have any value? I was pretty surprised and happy to pick up both.

Both domains have good value. WebsiteMarketReviews is probably better from an SEO point of view because of the keyword content, so you might like this for a domain if lots of traffic is coming from search engines.

However, WebsiteMR.com would be best if you had lots of direct traffic because its shorter for people to remember.

I think the question will answer itself when you look at where your traffic is going to come from.

Thanks GingerApple your input helped out alot. I think you are right about using the WebsiteMarketingReviews domain as most of my traffic will be comming from search engines.

 

I think you have it right. I would go with shorter domain.

 

how about: marketingtool.com - the name is taken but I think the guy stopped what he was doing and might sell it cheap.

marketingTool.com is a nice domain but I dont think it fits exactly what my plans are for the site.
