Commission Junction Drops Ebay Cookie

    i just noticed while entering my commission junction account that they drop an ebay cookie!
    Check on the loading bar on your left hand side, you will see rover.ebay....
    Isnt this against ebays tos?

    It's not an EPN cookie - it's a tracking cookie for eBay's affiliate reporting system when eBay's affiliate program was part of CJ, related to logins & whatnot. Not sure why that's still there.

    The cookie should have been long gone. Ebay left CJ months ago.

    A lot of networks are doing this, elite commission, cj, I think it most likely is an image loading from eBay's server.

    Since people are still gussing, days later, let me restate what I said before:
    It is NOT an EPN cookie. They are not trying to make eBay commissions from you. It's leftover from their partnership with eBay.

    eBay left CJ already. They set up their own network of affiliate system, seems to be called as 'eBay Partner Network', i think.
