Hi, When I go to google and look for link:www.Cowboys-Jerseys.com, I get just a couple results. When I look in Yahoo site explorer, I get a boatload. When looking at Google analytics, the SE traffic from Yahoo beats Google by a 8 to 1 margin. Is Google screwing with my backlinks?
Do you have a permanent redirect in your htaccess to include the "www" in your url? If not, try searching for link:cowboys-jerseys.com without the www and see if you get any results.
You must remember that yahoo counts many links that google does not such as no-follow links. If you build enough high quality backlinks your traffic from google will increase.
Google just show sample of links, not all links. Yahoo show all link, bot follow and nofollow. To see all links, login to Google webmaster tools > links > external links.
Google doesn't show all links because they want to prevent your competition to build backlinks from the same sources
