Cant send mails to Hotmail

Hello, i am pretty sure this is the problem from server side.. i cannot send mails to HOTMAIL OR YAHOO Email ids, but can send mails to GMAIL ids. I tried both SMTP and PHPMAIL.
Can someone tell me what i need to edit in my server configuration to make it working.

if you are using the mail function it should arive (all my mail does) but need to check the spambox

 

Yes, i had checked SPAM,JUNKS folder... nothing is thre.

 

Sign Up for a Google Apps, then you can use the STMP properly.

The problem is with the PHP configuration not smtp settings.

Dimes to dollars the problem is Y! and Hotmail bouncing the mails as undeliverable if your routing hostname doesn't resolve to the server or you are sending from.

I've been having this same problem... when sent through the mail() function, they'll get to gmail, but not hotmail. When I send an email to the same address from my webmail (has the same return address as I use in the mail function) it gets delivered fine.

 

what you need to do is contact your hosting provider tell them to contact the datacenter and have your rDNS for your server change to your hostname this fixed my problem
