So how accurate is google's keyword tool? For example: Let's say the tool says this phrase "dsjfsfkls" receives approximately 9,000 searches for a single month. -I know it's google we're talking about, but how accurate would that search volume be? And aside from word tracker, is there any other reliable keyword tool out there?
I really don't like google keyword tool. I hate it most. Beacuse it not show accurate search, may be good. but i think google show over all web searches for that keyword. For example, i work on Jewelry niche. In google it says 24,900,000 searches last month. but in other keyword tool , daily 3000 searches. check the difference.
Ravont is right. Googles' numbers seem to be double or triple what other keyword services come up with. It's hard to believe in any of them any more. Now, I just use them as a rough guide to see if there are any searches at all. Then just start picking the phrases I think are good and test, test, test. Zeek
For the keywords i work it is correct, as long as you keep it in "exact phrase". But trust me, you need to have 2 results at top serp's #1 and #3 ex, to check that those results are true.
It's estimated monthly search volume. It's not suggesting you will get that traffic from just having the #1 spot.
no other tool has as large database as Google does, You can also use Google trends to get estimations
Yeah i know, but i can assure you that the search volume indicator it's accurate (exact match). At least for me, since the numbers they give and the traffic i get from Google alone every month is almost the same (while ranking #1 and #3 spots for same keyword). They have 30.000 searches/monthly for "this keyword" and i get 24-27.000. So i'd say they are somewhat accurate
Google Keyword Tool not accurate? Then try Google Insights for search. google.com/insights/search/#q=seo&cmpt=q Or if you are a daily news blogger try Google Trends. google.com/trends/hottrends?sa=X
