Hello, Besides advertising on message boards, what are other ways to get google to notice you. Obviously having content rich sites helps, but what are some other marketing strategies with google's new system?
Get lots of good quality thematically relevant backlinks, do some social networking, social bookmarking, PPC lots of ideas
Getting a link from any of the high traffic page will make google notice your site; let it be ezine, digg, stumble or dp forum
Ive heard many times now that DIGG is a farse as you have clans/groups digging each other and the chances of you getting to top 10 are close to zero. We recently did some bookmarks and stumbleupon sent a few clicks but nothing major so.... laterz malcolm

Nice tips from everybody. Another one, very obvious one, go directly to Google Webmaster Tools and verify your site there, submit your sitemap, optimize domain name and other options they have. That will definitely help Google notice you.
I believe DIGG and StumbleUpon can bring in a lot of traffic and have your site indexed faster but the quality of the traffic coming in from Social Bookmarking websites is pretty low, as in, do not expect them to convert. Yes, Google will notice you but the significance is not high until or unless, your submission gets very popular. Article Sumission has to be the BEST way to not only get more links but also get high PR links and get your site indexed quickly. Google loves sites like ezinearticles.com. Write a good article and submit it to top article directories and that should do the job fairly well.
Great suggestion. Even simpler is to go to blogger.com , create a free blog, and link back to your page that you want indexed.
