I have a website that I thought went down, but it works on everyones computer except mine. And any computer hooked up to my house. I checked everywhere to see if I blocked it but I cant find it. It kinda sucks as I cant make a back up of the site either.
Anyone know where I can look? I have norton and its vista...
    Thanks

Hmmmm weird one. What you can do first of all is disable nortons and see if it's being blocked instead of just unblocking it. With Nortons I'm never convinced it does what it's suppose to. Secondly what you can also do is call your customer support. You may have accidently banned your IP directly from your site settings and it's now blocking you from the site. Either that or if your able to, try to change your IP to see if that does the trick to see if the site has banned you.

To do it manually go to

Start - then Run - Type in cmd
    ip config /release
    ip config /renew

And if your able to it should change your IP.

Now even if you do this and you have been banned from site it doesn't mean you'll get on, theres always the chance the range your on has been banned and if thats the case then you need to speak to customer support to see how to change the status.

TO be honest those the only two reasons I can think of you not being able to get into your site. You are on Vista as well and there could be the slim chance it's stopping you but highly doubt an OS would do that.

Hope you get it sorted, good luck.

I guess it cause by your network connection. Do check your network connection, your IP address. Are you using router? Check your router configuration too.

What type of router do you have?

You can usually log into your router with the IP address 192.168.1.1 which will ask for your username and password. Alot of routers will use the defualt userename and pass...username: admin password: admin or username: admin password: india.

Let me know what router you have and I'll help you if I can. You can also call up your ISP and see if they can help you check the configuration if your router is provided by them.
