Adsense crap money compared to abrite?

Ok so I run a television related blog. I don't quite understand, but Adsense is making so little compared to Adbrite. And the only adbrite I have is inline ads and a banner on the bottom of the site. Adsense is my leaderboard top, and even a pre-roll rectangle on all the video content. Adsense ads of course are the most relevant to the page compared to adbrite, but maybe this is the problem?

Maybe people don't want to click ads about the tv show they are interested in? weird eh?

Maybe I need to move to an alternative? Thoughts?

Use whatever makes most money. Test everything, see what works best.

As you suggested, Maybe because adsense is showing very related ads,
    1. They give you a low payout
    2. Your users arnt interested in them

If adbrite is showing unrelated ads, you should maybe replace all your adsense ones with adbrite. Or atleast give it a 5 day trial to see for sure which company would give you a greater revenue

Also, Would you mind pming me your URL? I have alot of sites related to the tv/entertainment niche, And would like to see what ads adbrite are serving you.

    Thanks in advance

    True,

I was wondering though if someone has a companion to adbrite that I can put into the adsense parts of my site for a few days and see how it works?

It depends on your content. Some content is better for AdSense clicks, some is better for affiliate programs, etc. Do what works best for your sites.

I found that hard to believe because adbrite usually pays shit all compared to adsense.

Strange things are happening everywhere... I am running 5 websites and I never have any earnings from adbrite higher than adsense.

I also do not earn much with adbrite...
Yet they have inline ads, and google does not. Perhaps it is worthwhile to have banner adsense ads and inline adbrite?

maybe it's worth to see what kind of ads visitors like and then become the affiliate of the same type products they click

Also, try adding a blocklist to your adsense, filter out the known crappy ads.

I had Discussed the Same with Many Publishers and 90% of them Said Adbrite is Worst. they Pay Very Less. Always trust Adsense for Higher Revenue with a blog / Website

I have the same opinion that a lot of others here about Adbrite. Tried it on one of my sites and i earned nothing compered to Adsense. Adsense showed more ads directed to the content on the site.

In rare case, Adbrite proves to be the better choice.

e.g. sites which have repeat visitors.

These visitors would be ad-blind and won't click any ads.

However, if the site is running CPM ads (Adbrite or any other network),these visitors will generate some revenue even if they don't click any ads.

Maybe you need to change placement or adsense ads colors. Try that, or simply remove them if they are not worth the trouble.

Put the monetization method performing best in the most prominent position. If Adsense is not performing look at affiliated products or services that fit the niche.
