Buffalo and Rochester, NY Wedding Photographers

Our first Wedding in 2007 was definitely a cold one…though Buffalo has a way of making warm hearts even warmer. Lisa and Clint are two of Buffalo’s warmest hearts and they made the day such a joy for us. We enjoyed being around all of their friends and family to share the day and photograph the celebration. We couldn’t ask for a better Wedding to start off the new year!

Christian & Tom’s Wedding could not have been more fun! From the beginning of the day to the end of the night we both had such a great time. It is such a privilege to be able to make new friends and create new art. The reception took place at Asbury Hall in downtown Buffalo. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing. The 15 foot Christmas trees and boughs of pine garland wrapped in white lights transformed this former church into a winter wonderland.

Well, Saturday marked the official end to our “busy season” and we couldn’t have planned the finale any better. Kristen & Pat are two truly great people with awesome families and friends on both sides…and they all know how to have a party! After the beautiful ceremony at St. Louis Church in Buffalo, we tagged along with the wedding party over to Pat’s Restaurant, the Blackthorn Pub. Afterwords, we joined the 400 guests at Brierwood Country Club for the party.

Saturday’s wedding was yet another fall classic. Despite the chilly blowing autumn winds, we managed to get some great outdoor pictures. The entire day was so much fun! Krissy and Eric led the “green team” on the dance floor as the party continued into the night. ~ Mike & Jill

It was great to see Rebekah and Pete again after shooting their engagement pictures this summer. We had a great time when we met with them in August… and Saturday we picked up right where we left off. After a wonderful wedding ceremony, everyone gathered at The Roycroft Inn to celebrate. For us…meeting people like Rebekah and Pete can be best described as a “crash course” in the process of making great friends. For one day we are invited into their lives to see them when they’re nervous, vulnerable, happy, elated, and every emotion in between…and we are invited to share memories that only their closest friends and family get to share. ~ Mike & Jill

We have been so lucky this year to meet so many great couples as they begin their new lives together. Chuck and Beth are no exception. We had such a great time spending the day with them in Rochester on their first day as husband and wife. During the latter part of the reception at the Crowne Plaza, Chuck requested a song from the DJ for his new bride. There was a collective sigh in the ballroom as “The Luckiest” by Ben Folds began to play. It was a really great moment for us… because that was our wedding song.

Record breaking snowfall, broken tree limbs, driving bans, and power outages were not enough to keep Allison and Dave from getting married on Saturday. Despite all of the obstacles caused by the storm, the attendance of their family and friends was proof that family and friends can overcome any adversity. Laurie and her staff at Avanti Mansion in Hamburg accommodated an amazing wedding ceremony and reception, proving nothing is impossible! ~ Mike & Jill

Tuesday we had a great time shooting Angela & Patrick’s engagement portraits at Como Park. We had originally planned the shoot to be on Thursday, but Angela saw the weather forecast and suggested that we meet earlier. Nice call Angela! Thursday turned out to be the biggest October snowfall in Buffalo’s history and due to the many broken tree limbs from the storm, Como Park looks very different now. ~ Mike & Jill

Andrea and Brian’s wedding brought them together in marriage and also brought together two awesome families. Sunday was the perfect end to a perfect weekend of weddings. Warm weather, kind hearted people, and great music. We really had a great weekend!

The beautiful weather on Saturday added to the delight of Kelli and Shawn’s wedding. The ceremony was held at Our Lady of Assumption in downtown Buffalo, NY. The inside of this church is simply a work of art and the perfect place for a wedding. The reception was held at the Statler Tower which was originally a hotel built in 1921. The rest of the evening was smiles and dancing.
