The Redmi series from Xiaomi has been on a roll over the last few years, and there are multiple reasons for this. The excellent features and low prices have helped set their models apart even from other players in the Chinese market. The end-user has benefitted the most from this competition with an impressive list of budget smartphones (all below $200/INR13,000) now available for them to choose from. The Coolpad Note 3 proved that you could have a high-quality fingerprint sensor in a budget smartphone, and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 looks to take this segment to a whole new level. The most notable features of this smartphone are its immense battery life and powerful Snapdragon processor. Xiaomi has proved that they can make a budget smartphone better than any other manufacturer. The Redmi Note 3 offers excellent quality, a solid performance and a great set of features at a very reasonable price. The camera could have been a little better, though. It is hard to find any faults with the Redmi Note 3 and in a few ways, it is at par with some smartphones that cost much more. This smartphone has the potential to improve with software updates in the future. So if you're in the market for a sub $200/INR 13,000 smartphone, there's only one option you should be considering.
