This will help you visualize the shots your taking without paying the price of a lane and shoes. However this is will only take you so far.

Educate yourself to the terms and how to apply it to your game. Things like english, putting spin on a ball to get subtle or drastic movement out of the ball as it travels down the lane. Power; the amount of energy and effort you exert on the ball when you throw it. There are other things and tricks to learn, like what ball to use or if you need a wrist brace or now. Don't be afraid to ask the people down at the lanes about how to bowl, or a tutor.

There are ten pins and each one is numbered. The one pin is the single pin in the front by itself. Behind that there are two and the numbers order from left to right, just like reading a book. When you get to the back row is where you hear about the dreaded seven - ten split. The seven is the furthest left pin in the back row and the ten to the right on the same row.

However all the games and talk can't take the place of picking up a ball and throwing it down the lanes. How to step up to the line, the release, how much power to give, staying out of the gutters. Learning the feel of the ball and how you handle it is key in improving your bowling game.

Practice is the only way you can improve how to bowl, but the good news is that one of the tricks of the trade is there's one throw you can work on to try and get that strike and perfecting that is key to getting consistent high scores in your game.

Combining these elements and having a good time with some friends down at the lanes will lead you to a better game and a good time.
