 Guidelines on Bowling Etiquette With Bowling Lessons

If you are a beginner bowler or just want to improve the way you play the game you need to familiarize yourself with bowling lessons, techniques, rules and etiquette to improve your experiences with the game of bowling.

For you to get the most out of bowling there are a few guidelines to follow regarding bowling lessons etiquette:

Wear the correct bowling shoes, wearing any other type of shoe can damage the flooring;

Refrain from using foul language when you bowl;

Dont eat or drink around the equipment, especially drinks as they could spill and cause an accident;

Make sure you put your bowling shoes on before you enter the lanes, any water from your normal shoes can cause havoc to you and other players.

When bowling with other players you need to wait until it is your turn, when your turn comes around be ready to bowl in order to not let others wait for you.

Make sure you do not over step the foul line, this is against one of the rules in bowling. You can mistakenly tread oil on the approach which could end up being hazardous.

Make use of your own ball every time you bowl, unless another player has allowed you to use their ball

If it is your turn to bowl and the lane next to you is playing at the same time let the bowler on your right hand side play first.

Make sure to keep your bowling game in your lane only, that means not going near another lane at all or bowling your ball down the wrong lane.

When you bowl you will probably find that the bowling alley has a machine that automatically scores the game. But it would be wise for you to educate yourself on how the scoring works before you play.

A single game of bowling will have 10 frames, the minimum score will be zero while the maximum is 300 points. You will have two turns in every frame to knock down the pins.

If you happen to knock down all your pins on your first ball within the frame it is known as a strike. When you knock down all the pins over your two turns it is known as a spare.

You may get confused in the beginning how the scoring works so the easiest way to work it out is to add up each frame individually to get to your score.

Enjoy taking time with your bowling lessons so you are armed and ready for your next game.
