Okay, I tried adding these two virtual hosts, and it is not working properly:

If I type "http://www.armageddonbbs.com" in my web browser location field, it then shows "www.armageddonbbs.com" in my location field, but it is actually at the unsecured version of my www.billkochman.com site.

If I type "http://www.endtimeprophecy.net" in my web browser location field, it then shows "www.endtimeprophecy.net" in my location field, but it is again actually at the unsecured version of my www.billkochman.com site.

The very same thing occurs with "http://www.endtimeprophecy.org".

If I type "http://www.billkochman.com" it DOES work, and it goes to https://www.billkochman.com, as it should.

Finally, if I type "http://billkochman.com", it does the same thing as it has been doing before. That is, it goes to https://billkochman.com, and NOT to https://www.billkochman.com.

In short, the above has only made things worse and half broken the three redirects that were working.

Are you saying that I should not even use the following? It was working fine with the three redirects, just not with http://billkochman.com, which is the only remaining problem.

RedirectMatch 301 (.*) https://www.billkochman.com$1

I mean, 301 is a permanent redirect too, right?

Well, as it turns out, using "Redirect permanent / https://www.billkochman.com/" does not work for me. I have to use the original "RedirectMatch 301 (.*) https://www.billkochman.com$1" directive which I have been using all along.

In short, I am back to using my original code, and "http://billkochman.com" continues to redirect to https://billkochman.com, and not to https://www.billkochman.com

I don't know what else to do. Any ideas?

Oh, while all of this but the last one is working on my end, that is no guarantee that is working on YOUR end. Can you please try out all five URLs and let me know the results? In other words:

http://www.billkochman.com
http://www.armageddonbbs.com
http://www.endtimeprophecy.net
