I'm not incorrect though am I? The whole point of this thread was to state that youtube had dropped to PR3 from PR8 when in fact in the case of with \ without www. I mean try for yourself visit http://youtube.com then visit http://www.youtube.com The fact is youtube hasn't dropped PR at all.
can't wait to see when the real update come into effect. maybe next month maybe next year. my bet would be after christmas.
It depends whether you check PR via toolbar or via sites that show rank based on datacenters. Both show pr3, but perhaps not on your current google ip.
You checked youtube.com without the www? why is it that so many established members here cannot tell the difference with \ without www before the domain name? can you 'redo' your iwebtool check but this time put the www before the domain? I just can't see any logic to the replies this is getting it makes me feel like a super webmaster just because I know how to check things correctly.
HaHa, hey I hold my hands up, I'll not even edit my post. I checked around 30mins and sure enough it was PR8 now it's PR3, oh well a slap in the face for me (until it goes back to PR8..).
CollyMellon - here are the results for www as well. Maybe I kinda guessed that a Google owned company wouldn't fall into canonical issues with one of their own sites. P.S. Here's a link to what a canonical issue is. Not that a super webmaster would need it
It's showing PR3 with and without the www I've updated my Toolbar to Show the latest PR values. Much easier than manually querying each URL. It may come good, the Google homepage has their PR back.

yep most datacenter are showing youtube as pr3. This is scary. if youtube is pr3 with all the backlinks it has then the lowest pagerank should be -10 lol
