The Balfour Declaration and the Mandate for Palestine were diplomatic documents. I am painfully aware of how little I, as an American born too late, know truly well. I know the suffering of Jewish people throughout the diaspora, and of Palestinians throughout the last half century or so. I don't have any answers, and do not wish to inflame already inflamed feelings. I would ask the opinion on the following:
