Google sent me an expensive christmas present!

I didn't got a gift but I am from Romania. I sent an email to Google today asking them if they send the gift only to some publishers ... nobody seems to know for sure

 

IANACA(i am not a customs agent), but I'm guessing you probably have to pay customs/brokerage on a value of 43.16. What that is where you are? I dunno. I personally refuse to pay customs to anyone, but I'm in the US, so that's a realistic option...

I'm in the U.S. and have received no gift this year.

I did receive the stupid clock radio last year.

Maybe Google found out about my new Larry and Sergey line of dartboards and voodoo dolls?

Received mine today, aparently the guy had quite a few to deliver! I'm from the UK and an adsense publisher.

 

Got mine too (in North Carolina)

 

I'm gonna be really pissed if I dont get one , glad to hear adsense publishers in the UK are getting so I'll keep a look-out!

Yep I'm in the UK (very minor adwords spend but good Adsense)

Didn't get the headphones but did get same pouch plus Mouse, USB Hub, Torch and memory stick very nice suprise.

 

Still haven't received mine and I'm in Oregon.

 

Yeak, I know the site, I dont really need any link exchanges, I think he must be spamming as I received about 8 emails from him from domains I own, I already get links from him just now.

I am a fairly decent sized adsense publisher across all my sites so I'd be chuffed to get the freebie set.

 

This is the email I received from Google after asking if all publishers receive the gift:

"Occasionally, Google may send promotional items to AdSense participants.
Although we are not always able to extend these gifts to all of our
publishers, please be aware that we are continually striving to offer you
the best possible support, and your feedback is very helpful.

We appreciate your understanding."

I hope I will receive the gift next year

 

I wonder if all Google employees have to go to a mandantory training class in "How to write a lot of words without actually saying anything."

 

This is exactly what I was thinking when I got the email ...sad

 

I got that last year, and when I saw the big box on my desk tonight after 250 + miles of fixing this and fixing that I thought, "damn, the book got thicker."

Looks like I got the bit of kit as well. Cool stuff... There has to be over $100 easy (retail) worth of items here. Very nice! Very, very nice indeed!!!

Got the same thing - must have to do with how much you spend on adsense - we spent over $100,000 last year.

 

I just got mine today. I remember when google used to send out cheap ass beach towels. Going public and raking in the cash really has paid off in terms of christmas presents

I think my google gifts have been
1 beach towel
1 32 (maybe 64) meg flash drive -- I didn't even know what it was at first
1 color changing radio
1 kit of bunch of stuff, mouse, flash drive, light, etc.

Definitely gifts are on an upward swing. Maybe one year we'll all get cars LOL
