Google Pagerank update Q2 2008

this is what happening to www.niessuh.com and www.bloggero.org

niessuh.com has a real pr of 3 and sudden change to 1.. but when i refresh again ang again it changes to 3 and 1 and vice versa..

samething in bloggero.org it has a pr 0 before and now has 2.. but sometimes goes back to 0..

errr. i don't understand google.. they treat us like a toy..

 

That's just because your toolbarqueries is fetching the values from different Datacenters each page load. I set the toolbar to use a single IP (updated DC) in Windows Hosts file so i can refresh it 100 times and it will always show PR6.

 

Thanks for the tip, I tried that and our forum went from a PR 4 to PR 5. Many of our subpages also jumped to PR 5 - hope that holds!

lol one of my sites got a pr of 33 on digi rank, I am hoping it gets to pr 3 or 2 all my sites are at 0 right now so anything that will update will be awesome.

However, be aware the IP may different for each time.

 

No change in rank but one of my sites has jumped many positions in the serps today.

 

I dont have the file "hosts"...

Putting that line in is just checking 1 datacenter though, there are loads of them that make up the PR

 

I have a bad feeling that my pr is going to blow...

I think that it is high time bloggers start to pester Google about improving their system. While many of you clearly have not been affected, many of us are getting absolutely killed! It is really unfair that they are doing such a drastic change at the expense of revenue and traffic for a lot of the market leading blogs.

 

i saw a big change in my Proxy site the last pr was 0 and now it is moved to PR 3

We've seen no change in actual PR but I just noted the links updated in webmaster tools which is what sent me to the forum.

The last time this happened the PR update occured within a few days.

 

pagerank will update April 14th 2008 from inside sources....

the process will take about 4 days

 

On first time I heard this rumor, I said it's not true. But recently when I checked for PR, one of my blog got PR4 from PR0. PR update is now starting.

 

dnScoop is still showing the same on all my domains, there's no reason to believe that there has been an update.
Some things may have been changed, but I doubt there has been a global update

 

or maybe yours just havent changed either way?

theres definitely something going down. we also couldnt see anything yesterday but can now see changes on multiple sites on the toolbar.queries datacentre, which I have on good authority - Sweetfunny (you dont get first page for "SEO" without knowing what youre talking about ) was the first one to roll out changes last time.

 

I think SEObliza is right, I think this might be the update. At least one or two sites I check frequently are down a point or two today. Most are the same.

A couple of our internal pages now have PR like the promotional totes page which has jumped up at level with the main site.

It seems way too early, but the signs are there with links updating, fluctuations in traffic (we had a huge change yesterday). Either way who knows, but something is obviously going on.

On a serious note, Google backlinks have been updated, so I suggest everyone checks those in the Webmaster console.

Datacenters are updating something, just check any of them

 

yeah g are updating - quite a big update aswell, serp's are changing all over the place, backlinks updating etc etc which is far more important than pr.
