There really is no need to register a domain name for every product name you come up with, unless of course you are Apple I hardly think it's gonna be a problem.
Man that is hillarious! You would have thought someone at Nissan would have had the forthought to register their domain prior to 94' geesh...
A bloke I used to work for registered 'easygroup.co.uk' an (incredibly lucky) couple of weeks before Easy Group registered 'easygroup.com'. They took him to court - he still lost it
I tried to put in an offer for the domain. I was suprised to find out it was currently sold. The response...
Google's services are based on the same domain , If you logged in at Gmail then you'll automatically logged in for Google.com , Google Groups , and etc. Because the Session must create on the same domain. (You logged Gmail on with SSL https but when gmail create the session and log your account on , session created by http site) But not with adsense. You can create adsense account without Google Account (Or Gmail email). And after logged on , there're still in https domain.
Exactly turkeyinstanbul...Ive been saying that same thing all along...We must be twins seperated at birth
They cannot take it over legal ways. The man/woman registered the domain long before adsense came out. I know big companies get away with lots of stuff but holy god people come on they are not god!
But again, what is the point. AdSense is a product. Not a company. Using the logic asserted here, McDonald's should likely try to legally wrangle FrenchFries.com away from the current owners. The domain is meaningless IMO.
Interesting post. I actually went to adsense.com the first time I heard about adsense. Im surprised that google hasnt paid them out with a redirect to adsense.google.com All depends on what his site is valued at from an actual business perspective I guess.
Maybe he was asking millions from them and they scoffed at him out of principle? If I were the guy I would at least have a referral link to Adsense. The payout is $100 per referral.
