Hello i want to share with you a crazy mooooooove that google did today ! i registered VIPK.ORG 2008-07-11 14:39:48 , you can see my who is information, it was a dropped domain with PR3. after google update came on August, it was dropped to 0. I installed an automated news blog on it, let it run itself, and TADAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Today page rank is showing 3 , if u check with some fake PR detection site : without www : dropped domain newly registered (domain was dropped to 0 after i bought it, how can it be dropped newly registered after google update ???) with www : valid PR3 please tell us if u experienced such a thing before
I've been seeing changes to PR continuing from just a few weeks ago. It makes me wonder if this will now be a constant thing for Google. No more quarterly updates? Hmmm.
i would really prefer that than quarterly updates, at least we see instant results. BUT for this site, its the one i NEVER PROMOTED, it just contains daily fresh content. My other sites for which i tried building backlinks got nothing, really weird !!!!???
I saw a site less than 3 weeks old with only one backlink from a site with PR N/ A show as PR 1 after the July export. Then a couple of days back it went down to PR 0 which is what I'd expect for a new site.
Strange thing is .. it did do another export on Aug 23rd I believe. Not sure if 2exports have been so close together before. One of my sites now shows PR 3 whereas before it was PR N/A.
I had an internal page get a PR 3 today. That pagerank sculpting I did paid off. That's the only change I saw
i lost all my PR today. PR3 to PR0. It was PR3 just yesterday. Many internal pages were PR3 and PR2 all are PR0 now. feeling like crying..........
I bought a domain that had 0 backlinks and it recived a PR of 2 just couple weeks after purchase. I have not really promoted the site, it currently has 1 back link from google and just a few in yahoo and it is still PR2 after last update.
as far as im concerned, they got a PR update last August 20 and I regained my PR from my celebrity blog (too bad my other blogs don't)
