FYI: AdultFriendFinder and Adsense Ads are A-Okay

    FYI:

Just in case there was anyone else interested in this, or had questions about it (as I did), I emailed Adsense support late last night and they just got back to me.

So the answer is -- Yes, Adsense is allowed on the same page as AdultFriendFinder ads.

For those wondering, I had questions about this because of Google's dislike of adult-themed affiliate links, and I was concerned that AdultFriendFinder could very well be considered "adult theme". This may be the case, but Google has given it the thumbs up.

    i've also just checked adultfriendfinder.
their banner and promotion were all too 'porny'.

They have banners with no nudity. You can promote their "sofer" side, passion.com.

    passion.com looks interesting indeed,
Usually I find AFF ads obnoxious. A little to much in your face and distracting. I kind find anything about available formats on there site. Do you know if they have other formats than the ones with the big pictures about girls looking for a sexpartner in your part of the world?

this is way OT but you might like to know that AFF and it's related sites are scams. turns out they pay people to pretend to be members and so on.

If you're going to make accusations like that, you'll want to supply proof. Just running into a room and throwing a grenade into it and then fleeing again doesn't cut it.

They have plenty of ads. As I said, there are the "non-nudity" ads. The selection of ads is pretty massive, actually.

Well in this case the proof is my personal experience. I used them for about a month (free account) and after a bit something just didn't seem right. I'd go in the chat rooms but all the people just talked to one another, like bots with programmed chat scripts. Every now and then they'd talk to me but for the most part them seemed like a) chat scripts b) employees. You could tell who the "Real people" were because they chat in a totally different manner than the other folks. If you haven't done much chatting online you may not be aware of what I'm talking about. Yahoo chat for example is laden with lame-o chat bots which are easily picked out.

In the end through a bit of deduction I concluded most the profiles are fake and are simply ran by employees who are paid to "keep hope alive" for those using the site.

I've been chatting online for over a decade and have become pretty good at telling who's who and what's what. AFF *always* had a strange feel to me. The idea that this is a scam is backed up by their enormous signup fees. I've done a lot of chatting in similar social situations (e.g. to pickup people). This kind of chat has a certain "feel" to it. The AFF chat rooms lack this feel. Now keep in mind, chatting online for over a decade. Not my first time around the block. And I didn't go into AFF thinking it was a scam, I thought it was legit.

Also, if you say, go to their "asian friend finder" site you'll notice a lot of these "profiles" also appear on the regular AFF site, and so on. Not to mention a lot aren't asian.

Take a look at a lot of the profile pics. Totally hot 1/2 naked women right ? I mean like on a scale of 1-10 a lot of them are above 7. This simply does reflect the statistics of the population as a whole. But AFF wants you to think *most* of them members are totally hot and totally want to take their clothes off for you.

On another note they keep your profile "active" for other members to see even after you cancel. How do I know ? They did this with mine. I wouldn't be shocked if my profile was still "active" after more than 8months after "deleting" my account.

Another way to get the idea that AFF profiles are fake. After being on there for some time (you can track who views your profile) guess who was viewing mine : gay men 99% of the time and older women who aren't my type (and certainly aren't the hotties they show you). Keep in mind, I'm not gay or old. Nor did I advertise to draw in gay or old people.

Also a google search may clear this up for you.

This isn't about me being all mad cause I didn't totally get laid by the cheer leading team because of AFF. I truly believe through my own personal experience that most of the profiles are fake, a lot of the pictures are fake and the whole thing is mainly a scam designed to get you to pay up the MEGA fees to become a "member" so you can message people and all that. I think there 1 yr member fee was something like 199 dollars.

    my two cents.

but anyhow, have you used AFF ?

    what was your experience ?

ps. not saying ALL the people there are fake, just a lot of them.

Just do a search, there are tons of articles about all of the bogus profiles. Also, all of the pics/names in the profiles sometimes displayed in their ads are fakes. Just do a search for one of the profiles you see in an ad on their site - they don't exist.

AFF is in my hosts file....

Moral of the story, get you booty in the real world. The women on hookup sites are either fake or will stab you after you hookup.

As far as a affiliate revenue stream, they pay so I would say they are good.

I know plenty of folks in real life that have used AFF and have met other real life people. We've used AFF as an ad partner for a long time now and they can bring in great revenue if used correctly. Replace their horrible stock images with images of your own for best results btw and yes, advertise passion.com or friendfinder.com instead of aff.com and you are extra ok.

Overall I'd say Option #2, as you'll be earning off renewals as well, so theoretically you'll continue to earn money as the members keep renewal their membership, even well after you've stopped promoting them.
