Recieved nearly 17,500 visitors yesterday - See screenshots

i came to the office today in the morning and when checking mail i saw a blog post i did had a lot of comments

I checked the stats and was shocked to see the traffic that it generated
Here are the screenshots...


the slight dip that you see is cause the day hasnt ended when i took the screenshot today

Seems someone stumbled the article as you can see below

Did the traffic increase the business inquiries? No..the number of new inquiries is relatively the same...The stats were generated by wordpress stats
Will wait and see the total stats for tomorrow

 

Traffic is fun, especially when you can do something with it.

Downside is, as u said, that it doesn't bring in too much more revenue

have you checked your bounce data? ... especially from stumbleupon..

 

stumble upon traffic is good for alexa rank but other then that its useless as that traffic dont convert in so sales or clicks

 

friend will you help us by telling what did you do that you get this fabulous result so we also can apply on ours blogs

 

You ought to stick some Adsense on that post while you still have the traffic.

 

I get SU traffic like that a lot and sometimes it converts to Adsense clicks, but Stumblers are notorious for stumbling and running.

traffic without increased revenue is not a lot of good....

I hope you can find a way toturn that traffic into money spending punters

 

Congrats. If you manage to at least keep that sort of traffic up any sort of adsense might pay off a little. You should be able to monetize your situation pretty easily, even if the traffic source isn't that great. Don't over do it with the ads as that tends to put off better quality traffic from other locals other than SU.

 

Not worth the bandwidth wasted, if you ask me

It's either a mistake, or, like silveraden did, you made up the screenshot.

But the no-brain noobs will believe it, so you will still get posters going to your site.

Nice work. The best part about stumble is if the post is good, they will keep coming back. It may go quiet for a few days, but then it will start bringing traffic again.
