Hi Guys, Few days back, i tried Google video units powered by YouTube on my technology site Daily Technology Tips and so far they are doing good. I never thought people give time to see videos on your website even if it's not a video site. I am getting good impressions of video units everyday and it turned to money also. But for me, important is that visitor giving time to my site because of the video units. Which is very good for any site. Any one else tried video units in either Video site or any other niche site? if yes , then what is your reaction over these?
If some one click on your video and see it then Google will pay you money right?? or any other way is there???
It's not like that. On the videos being displayed on the website has ads running on it. When someone clicks on those ads then it counts as a click. Not just when someone only see video.
I have a doubt about Video ad units. There are two adsense ads are there in video units. One is on the top along with Youtube logo and the layered ads on the video. I want to know who is getting paid for the layered video ads (which are displayed while playing the video), whether it's you the adsense publisher or the video owner?
Do these ads slow down your site? I tried video ads from another publisher and it slowed down my arcade pages alot.
I didn't have any good results with the video units, but maybe a new try should come in handy. I don't think it will work out good (it didn't the first time).
Every external object or script on your webpage put a weight, so it's natural. It will slow down. Even Google Adsense slowdown your website, they take sometime to load.
