I am seeing that my Adsense has started seeing slow down in earnings starting from the month of May 2008. Every month I am increasing the number of page views per month, but the earnings are decreasing slowly. Is the what we call US slowdown? Any experiences like this?
I don't think clicks would depend upon earnings. You might want to reconsider your ads possibly. If businesses started pulling off Adwords you'd feel a difference in your niche.
My adsense earnings also going down but I don't think that it has connection with your location. I know why I got low adsense income because I stop building links on my site. My site traffic decreases since mid June up to present.
Some niches are more dependent on a good economy, while other niches do not perform well in the summers months. Surely a slow economy has caused advertisers to keep a watchful eye on spending. But just how much that influences your earnings is dependent on your niche and the market you serve. I would take a look at the Adsense Preview Tool and try to block low paying advertisers (eBay, MFA, etc.). That may help to deliver ads which pay more.
US slowdown also could have an effect on that. Coz, this may indirectly lower the Cost per Click an advertiser willing to pay.
I agree. The US slowdown affects everything, so many warehouses in the area I live are closed and for rent.
I believe so, yes. My English websites with mostly US visitors are having the same amount of visitors/pageviews and Adsense income is going down. With my other websites that aren't in English I am still getting about the same amount of money for clicks.
My income raisinig in $$$, but sice I'm in Europe, and dollar is so week against Euro, my earnings decline
