Hi, I am trying to work out exactly how much was scammed from these guys over the past year. There are conflicting reports about how much it was and exactly what is going on. Please put your amount here so we can tally it. I will start with my $660. Since it started in this thread, i thought this would also be the best place to start it. It may also warn people away from similar things.
It better to try with good traders with low price first.Once you got result only you have to proceed more.
I just can't believe KingofKings was the culprit in all of this. I had worked with him previously. Sad to see that some people just get greedy and walk away. I almost used this service.
I just read up on the thread and col was pretty much a victim too, it seems. Both were avid members, but KingofKings walked away from the obligations he had with so many people. He is now banned. I would imagine he walked away with thousands of dollars.
KoK got $200 from me...well actually it was a client's cash, but they wanted it even after I recommend against it. Now they listen to me, so in a way he did help out

They were a bunch of scammers going around offering guaranteed rankings in the search engines for your websites after 60+ days. Unfortunately, people were too stupid to realize the problems here: 1) Paypal will only let you file a dispute within 60 days, so if somebody doesn't delivery sooner than that you are screwed. 2) Most of the time they were only taking Western Union or eGold, which doesn't offer any kind of buyer protection. So they went on this site offering SEO services for dirt cheap (like $100-$500) and made huge guarantees to deliver, then they disappeared after the got the money. Hell, I had King of Kings on my MSN for a long time and he stopped responding to me the day he got his money lol. Cheap SEO was offering white hat services for your site, King was offering black hat services to take down competitor sites. I'm sure you could track them down and sue them, but honestly the few hundred bucks they scammed out of you won't be worth the legal costs of chasing them (hence why scammers get away with crap like this). Live and learn I expected this to happen, so I wasn't really shocked when they disappeared with my money. But it was chump change...pity. If they had actually delivered they could have made way more money. And I'll bet you anything that both of them are on this site under alias accounts, probably getting ready for a repeat performance.
If they are in US/Canada, you can sue them for the amount and the court costs, including lawyers fees. I know that because I just did this today. $700 in lawyer fees, damages+the money that were taken. Small Claims Court is there for these issues.
I getting lots of interest on a blog post that I made about this DP Scam feel free to post about your loss. Collin also posted his answer. Thanks Brian
