    Dear Handsome & Pretty,

    Please enlighten me on:
Whether Server Location, Registrant Address, Domain Name affect SERP on LOCAL search on google?

    1. Example: Will a domain hosted at canada have SERP advantage over a domain hosted at France when a user in Canada do a search at google.com.ca? Yes/No

    2. Example: Will domain Registrant with Canada address have SERP advantage over domain Registrant with France address when a user in Canada do a search at google.com.ca? Yes/No

    3. Example: Will a domain name with .ca have SERP advantage over domain name with .com when a user in Canada do a search at google.com.ca? Yes/No

What's the other factors that WILL affect SERP when a user perform a google LOCAL search?

"muakmuak" in advance for your sharing. :p

Google will use localized results for the user of the engine where possible. if the user is in France then they will look for French results. This is kinda indicated here when discussing language etc http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2008/07/hitting-40-languages.html

This is all depending on the query language, i.e. French language, by the way, are we talking about Quebec French or France French?

I don't see why. I'd love to hear any reason for this.

    Yes. It will.

Ummmmmm, read the forum, there are many.

    I agree wid above answer,

for your 1st and 3rd question my answer would be yes.

and for 2nd one - NO...

---> You can have local directory submissions.
    ---> Local classifieds submissions
---> Use once canada in your title and once in description for your homepage.

Hi Mr Inisibile, France is just an example, it can be India, United States, Singapore, etc... I meant when the user search in English, not other language... All constructive inputs are welcome...Tks

Google uses anyway geotargeting (and other largest SEs as well). English SERPs are different depending on searchers location. ccTLD and local hosting does matter. Try out Google.com, Google.co.uk, Google.ie, Google.ca, Google.co.in and Google.co.nz for example.

SERPs are also affected by where the server that is hosting your website is
