What do you think works better in a YouTube description box? a text link for a ringtone or a Clickbank product related to the video? I almost think a ringtone link would be more profitable, because it's cheaper, and with a Clickbank product you wouldn't be preselling or anything. But on the other hand a ringtone is about $5 each...Clickbank about $20. Any ideas?
How about linking to a site that positively reviews the Clickbank product? You're very unlikely to convert from visitors coming directly from your video (unless the video was a review of the product)... you're best off sending them to a blog and convincing them that it is a quality product OR capture their email to sell to them later on.
I've heard that--do a Clickbank product. Also what about having a ringtone link in the description box, and upload an original music video as the video as content?
Why not put both? You can put several links in the video description box. And the cut off is 4 or 5 lines down? You should be able to put several links where viewers can see them. As for myself, I do not have a cell phone and those ring tone links are everywhere. After awhile people start to ignore certain types of banners and links. When I use my videos on my websites, I will put a banner above and below the video. Sometimes is RSS product feed from amazon, sometimes is a google ad. So what ever type of link you put on youtube, when you embed your video into your site, use a different type of ad. The main point of my videos is to inform people about the website. And most of the clicks, and sales are from the site. Even though adsense is doing pretty good on my youtube videos.
