    Hey,

I have seen people saying they get 10,000 daily visits from the SERPS alone..anyone on here doing that...and if so what keywords?

I'm not talking about text ads...click throughs...only clicks from the actual SERPs

    Thanks

To nitpick, I usually define a SERP as a "search engine results page". People often refer to SERPs when talking about where their sites falls in the rankings for certain keywords, so I can understand where the alternate definition of "Ranking Positions" comes from. However, when simply talking about a SERP in terms of incoming traffic, it doesn't make much sense to use the "Ranking" version.

My traffic from search engines can be extremely high. It can range between 100s and 1000s per day depending on the time of the year and other factors.

For certain, highly relevent keywords my agricultural website is always in the top 10 results on all major search engines. Since 98% of the income for the site is from subscriptions, it is very important to get a high ranking and have the kind of content which makes people keying on those words feel happy they found me.

In my experience, there is world of difference between getting people to visit because you managed to rank well for a keyword and engaging people enough that they do quickly not back up to the search engine page.

People who find you through search engines are looking for content and they do not click on ads to escape, they back track.

    Not me, working on it.
Build links for small keywords and it'll work out in the end.
