Hi everyone, I know what you're thinking, VOROLO FOR SALE?! Yes, it's for sale, simply because I don't have the time or funds to take Vorolo to the top, the website has great potential and I am well and truly sad to let it go, but I guess it's an end of an era for me.

The site is growing quite fast every month considering I've done no paid advertising in May, June and July, it's all simply from word of mouth. People have also been blogging about the website on their blogs. Examples include:

The only paid advertising I did was buy hits in the first month of launch, other than that May, June and July have all been receiving non-paid for, organic hits.



Other Features:

Easy to Advertise:
Other than the fantastic design the website itself has great potential, although the site isn't as active as I planned it to be(without any advertising) it still has quite a few members from around the world by word of mouth.

YouTube Feature:
There have been loads of time and effort put into the project, for example, the YouTube feature, the youtube feature was coded from ground up and integrated into Vorolo. What it basically does is grab videos from YouTube which a user can then add to his/her profile or create a link which users can send the video link to their friends linking to the video on vorolo.

[New] Blog Feature:
This is a new feature which was recently integrated into Vorolo. Users are able to make blog posts for their friends to read or post a comment on.

[New] Groups Feature:
This feature has also been coded from ground up and implemented into Vorolo. With this feature you can creat your own custom groups with other users can join. Example of a group page: http://www.creativenine.com/x/2008-07-25_0008.png

[New] Improved Navigation:
From what I have seen, there isn't another social networking turnkey script that provides you with a drop down menu. The drop menu makes it much more easier to navigate within the website to other pages quickly.

Album Feature:
Users are able to create albums to keep their photos nice and organized.

Invite Card:

It's simple, it's fast, and best of all, it's AJAX!

Ajax Features:
Vorolo has a few Ajax tricks up it's sleeve, check out the Test account and see for yourself!

User Control Panel:
Apart from all the cool nifty features, Vorolo also has a basic user editing control panel from Profile Privacy to Account Visitors. Take a look and see for yourself using the Test account.

What script is this Site using? Do you own the rights to the script? Is the script custom done, if so will the buyer have access ot the coders so new features can be added at price?

 

The script it is using is called Folkstr. I do not own the rights to the folkstr script, however, most of folkstr's code has been re-written and cleaned up by my programmer, 90% of the script is all custom. I didn't quite understand you're last question.

Most probably, although it isn't really for me to say, the buyer will have to sort that out with the programmer themselves.
