Virus

    I have a virus called downloader.AY

    I have three different spyware and virus programs and cant seem to get rid of it or find any information on it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    I got a flippin' Javavirus called Java/shinwow.BA

    What's going on with the influctuation with virus threads now? Is everyone getting a virus lately? I come home today to find out my antivirus finds Java/shinwow.BA but can't clean it. -.-

    WTF!

    aaron, if it's adware/spyware, download and run "hijackthis". generate the output file and post it to any of the tech forums that have 'experts' who will tell you what to do next. this has saved me from reformatting twice already.

    just do a google search for "hijackthis".

    Ill try AVG, thanks. I am doing a system recovery on that computer to see if I can clear this mess up. Thank god for having two computers though. :)

    Good luck fellas...
    I got one that I don't know the name of...
    Nothing I have detects it..(latest versions of Symantec mcAfee Norton AVG ++)Only evidenced by its actions.
    Fresh versions of ZoneAlarm attempt to block its actions but within a few days it rewrites ZA so I am not alerted. Attempts to dial out constantly...
    rewriting my existing connection. Any Ideas?
