www.Ian.com has a great affiliate program and provides a huge feed from Hotels.com, TravelNow and others. I see someone from Ian.com here now so maybe they will come to tell you more.

Most independant travel programs can supply you with a database to slice and dice as you wish. Sites like you are seeing are generally using an xml interface which accesses the databse to serve results on your site throughout the booking process.

Do any hotel affiliates payout over 6% on the netrate hotels?

The one I currently an is 6% but I was contacted by that offered me 8% and a $3 booking fee.

I think ian.com pays 6% , I am not sure how much you have to book to get in higher bracket

We pay 5% on merchant rate hotels and 50% collected comissions on gds rates- our collections rates are amazing as well. I'm in development- not sales and contracts, but if you'd like to go over this with someone, shoot me a note and I'd be happy to have someone get you any details you need.

-yes, there is still money to be made in travel by the individual. It is not an easy road though.

lodging.com (who I with currently) pay 6% on netrate hotels

I make a little from hotels sites, between the bookings and other affilate links

like maybe $1000 a month tops

but I havn't really put a lot into it , I think the potential is there , everyone books travel online now, and more and more people are getting online

I'm trying to get more into it

We have templates for the search forms, but do not have fully designed site templates. If you can come up with even a basic home page and drop in our search form, we can match our back end to your colors and headers/footers.

$5 per booking for air- we are tied in with the WorldSpan system

If you would like to talk directly to an account manager or salesperson- please let me know and I'll get you contact info.

IAN is quite good, confirmed. The only problem I had with them is that they pay by checks (US), and I am in NL. Loosing lots of bank commission on caching.

IAN.com, any ways to improve on that? Other payment methods?

Guys, there also few other high-quality hotel affiliate services: booking.com, expedia.co.uk
    Try them out also!
