Account Banned...But Not My Fault

Discussion in 'Guidelines / Compliance' started by slip, Jun 7, 2006.

Recently I recieved one of the "Invalid clicks" email from google. I haven't made any invalid clicks myself, but someone else may have. My CTR jumped from >2% to 20%, obviously that raises a red flag against me. I tried appealing my claim to google but was told that they are still going to stand by their decision of leaving my account banned.

With that account I wasen't using my own information, but a family members because they owned the account technically. I was wondering if i used my name, ss#, address(same city, state but diff address), and a different website if I had a chance of obtaining a new account. Also after I apply how long does it usually take to become accepted. I forgot how long it took my first time because it was so long ago.

In the mean time i have applied to Yahoo, but in the recent state of their beta program i have little hope to become accepted. Thank you very much for taking your time to answer this.

Did you E-mail them right when you saw the stats go from 2% to 20%, or did you slip up??!!

Give it a shot. The most they can do is say No. But there is the chance that they'll give you another account, only to ban you again at a later date. It's been known to happen. But that's just the chance you take.

We got banned for no reason too. We were doing less than $1/day in volume and they terminated our account anyways.

is it because there was no visible border between your images and the ads, because two of the blogs in my sig have benefitted from a huge increase because of images and I wonder now if that surge will be an issue.
Guess I'll have to email them and get the okay

There's your second slip!!! All re-applying does is makes it harder to get back in!!! If you ever get in Yahoo, don't slip up there!!!

If you have used a different name, email, address, SSN and domain name, it should be fine. May be a different IP too ??
Otherwise, YPN seems to be the only good alternative!

Try YPN if you live in USA.
Becuase they wont ban you because of invalid clicks. They just wont pay for them.
