Businesswire.com and prnewswire.com are the best in my opinion. They are the services used by most professionals. They are the best and most expensive. Good luck. -C
Yeah its a waste of money to send out a big press release to prnewswire or businesswire if your site is small and not newsworthy. If you have a smaller site, try PRWeb.com, they are very good for online news and tons of backlinks. -C
This is for a large website that is very unique (at least as far as I know). It is definately not an image gallery. I would like this for a Web and Print Press release. I appreciate the feedback.
Sorry Woodcs82 I miss read your post. It looks like prnewswire is what I am looking for. Sorry to be a pain but do you know were you can direct me on a good tutorial for writing a press release? I've never done it before and this makes me nervous!
I did and found some great stuff. I just like to have a recommendation from people who have actually done it.

Check with www.marketwire.com. They are the biggest newswire in the world. You can go as focused or broad distribution as you like. You should be able to haggle for a discount.
Hi there, I have had very good success with webwire.com, all my releases goto number#1 for my keywords in google.com/news. PM me if you need more info.
Hi ctyler, you can search "free press release websites" on any good search engine. you will find a list of websites where you can post your press releases. I also suggest you to visit www.dreamworldtech.com in this regard bcoz i also found it very useful to get information regarding press releases. Good luck John Wade
I used pressreleasegrader (dot) com when I did mine and it helped out a lot. Prweb also gives you a template to get you started.
I appreciate everyones help. I think I am going to go with businesswire. How much traffic do you think you can expect with a full fledge national press release?
PRweb is not longer free since a couple of years back. I will recommend you search for huge lists of free Press Release submission sites, either inside this and the copywriting forum.
