edit: actually just go to http://spreadsheets.google.com ... i went there right now and it loaded up for me. no invite or anything.

 

I also visited the link you mentioned but do not allowed me to sign-up. We need to have an invitation to sign up

 

That's weird, because I went to it and it went right in. But you and some friends of mine all said the same thing. I dunno how or why it let me in, I didn't have an invitation.

 

I think if you are logged into any google account (like gmail) and you type in spreadsheet.google.com it will let you in.

 

I was logged in at that time but it did not let me sign up for the same.

I think Google is offering this to particular country(s) like USA/UK etc. while I am from India. Just a thought.

BTW, which country are you from?

 

Wow! Just got a mail from google telling that they have activated my account.

 

i just got my google analytics invite today

 

I had to get an invite - but received it about 5 minutes after signing up for it

actually, all you really need to do is get an invitation to share a spreadsheet from someone with an account (like me)

 

I don't have an invite either, but I just logged in with my Google account, and it let me into Google Spreadsheets.
