What's better with adsense (Kontera VS Adbrite) My Results !

    Hello,

I am trying to find what's the best thing that can work with adsense in my site.

i am sure every site works different, and the best advice i got was from Tearabite ( I guess you just need to try everything and keep what works best for your site.)

i have tested kontera, and the results was very low earning, between 1 cent to 4 per click.

i have posted this here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=920127

even members and publishers here trying to say that kontera is the best in the market, but their earning is low the same as me, the only different is they have much clicks.

my earning with kontera was 2971 clicks = 99$ , which is 0.03$ per click
    [IMG]

now to look at the others who said kontera is the best in the market because they make a good earning. one say 15419 clicks for 609$ which is 0.04$ per click, and other with 8,384 clicks for is 936$ , which is 0.10$ per click. (and this was the best earning with kontera) but this is not the point now.

i have been testing adbrite inline ads, and the result was WOW !!!!!!!!!!
i didnt use the banners or the pic ads, video ads, pullpage ads, etc. this is will be my next project with adbrite. but what i am showing now is only adbrite inline earning for first 9 days of July 2008.

Note: Adbrite earning is only for 9 days, from 1 July - 9 July , my earning with adbrite is $152.09.

Kontera earning was for 36 days starts from 1st of June 2008 to 6th of July 2008., my earning with kontera is : 99.95$.

kontera and adbrite tested on the same site devided to 2 sections, the same traffic and nichie for both.

Kontera response is: (A site's incoming revenue is influenced by many different factors including the website's content; its layout; its traffic volume and traffic source. CPC is often the sum of these factors combined with the very important factor of advertisers' demand for a particular keyword/niche.)

I dont care for kontera either, but adbrite does depend on what kind of site you are using. It doesnt work on all, like if you have picture hosting, the inline ads dont have too many words to work with.
I have put together a nice list of alternatives or things to run with adsense. Check out my sig for more info.

great info, thanks. i must say though it's annoying surfing a page with adbrite pop-up inline ads especially when trying to read text. it's like guiding your cursor thru a mine field. you have to remember to keep your mouse off of the content.

I tried Kontera once and it slowed the page load time right down and I got nothing but complaints from the forum members and so I removed it.

I did not know that you could use adsense and adbrite together- thanks for that info.

Yes i have noticed the kontera freeze the page for the first 2-4 seconds when the ads starts to load, this is causing problems to people who use slow and old computers !

having good revenue beside Adsense and with adsense at the same page is just so great.

kontera is very good to work with, easy to customize the ads colors, but come on, very LOW earning .. why should i use 0.01 to 0.04 per click while i can get much much much more with different company (adbrite for example).

adbrite inline is so light on the page, but one negative thing is you don't have the option to customize the ads colors. they have only green underline color for the ads.

see how adbrite inline ads look like :

You got that much without full page ads?.. I been relying on full page ads and ignoring inline. Thank you for this log. I will try swapping inline and ignoring full page

@Kengeki How much have you been making with the full page ads? How many visitors? I have been thinking about using the full page ads for some time. Can you use the full page ads with Adsense?

Awesome post! Keep it up alskarinna... I always thought Kontera pays more than Adbrite, but to my sheer surprise it surely seems to be otherwise.

*....takes a bow most gracefully for the awesome post.... *

Yes you can use full page ads with adsense. Full page ads are very good supplement to adsense earnings. You can handsomly earn upto $6 per 1000 ad views. But everything depends upon the niche and type of advertisers displaying ads on your site or blog.

Thanks for the answer nikmahajan. I am going to try and see how the full page ads work. I am keeping kontera on there for right now but I have also been getting crappy payouts for Kontera. I had 1 click = $.00. I emailed support and they said it is because some clicks are less than a penny. Now many panel isn't adding up and they haven't responded. It shows I have one click for 6 cents another click for 4 cents and a third click for 2 cents. These are all on different days and on a few small site that i just started. The bottom is showing a total of 11 cents. I told them I made it past second grade and my math skills are pretty good. They have yet to respond. That was four days ago.
