I can do articles below that word count depending on the topic but I don't/won't take every writing job that i'm offered for less than 550 words. If you want a 250 word press release or product review etc. I can do it. However, don't ask me to write a 250 word article on the history of the civil war, there just isn't a effective way to cram all of that information into 250 words and the quality shows in the article.
