    How can I use SEO to have a high flicker rank for Flowers? What about a Google image search? How can I use SEO to have a high flicker rank for Flowers? All types of flowers not just Roses.

    When you name your images, name them with keywords.

    For example.

    If your uploading pink roses, name the image to pink-roses.jpg rather than 08375.jpg

    This should help them get picked up by the images crawlers. Same principle applies as doing basic keyword research.

    You could even use "long tail" keyword for the image names, i.e. 12-pink-roses.

    I understand that. But how can I get the flowers (keyword) image on the first page? I have first page results for a websarch but not for image search.

    Back link to the images.

    Post to blogs that are relevant etc etc but you will be up against stiff competition because the sites that have images in the first page are the sites that are well established and been around a long time.

    Use social bookmarks too.
