I think its a nice combination SEO and WEB 2.0 techniques..surely try your strategy. thnks for sharing.
great summary very helpful indeed. I think that blogs have to rely increasingly on good PR rank and a good link building strategy because it's diffiuclt to optimise your own page names, which is key to good SEO. One website you can choose your own name for a webpage but in a blog this is normally generate for you by the blogging software and is usually less efficient
Thanks for appreciation. I will write one comprehensive post about how to drive traffic to a website & will including a list of resources in all possible categories.
Great post. Content is definitely one of the best ways to promote your blog. I hate when I visit a blog and it hasn't been updated in over a year. If I find a blog with good content, I refer my friends, who refer their friends, etc. It can only help build traffic. Blog commenting has really helped me promote my own blog. I try to comment on very popular sites, but I always make sure I leave a relevant comment. If it's useful to other readers, and it can benefit your blog traffic, it's a win-win situation.
These are some nice hints. I will definitely use the ones I didn't know, I have a feeling it will boost the traffic to my blog a lot. Writing good content isn't always easy though, but it is definitely needed if you want people to come back. Kudos to you for the info.
Thanks for sharing. Eatonweb is a paid directory and I haven't met anyone who thinks it was worthwile to pay. Apart from that, nice tips for a basic start up!
